Turbosmart E-boost 2?
What are your guys opinion on this EBC. Anyone have any experience with it? Is it easy to use setup, and what kind of boost can it go to? It's between this or the AVC-R depending on how much boost this thing can hold. I like the convenience of having a Boost gauge/controller in one, and being able to put it in a pod. The AEM I think only goes to 29psi, which is why I shrugged that one off. Let me know what you think of this product guys so I can make my decision /

I studied this boost controller for a while. There are two models, one goes to 45 psi and the other to 60. I have heard some good things about it as far as features are concerned. It is equal to or maybe a little better than the avc-r as far as features is concerned. Still, I have yet to talk to anyone that has run one on an Evo. I will watch this thread and hope someone who is using one on an Evo replies.

I've found a couple of older threads about some running them on their Evo (search turbosmart e boost), but they didn't say much/anything about the boost controller itself. I hope they are easy to use/tune with. Seems like if nobody responds here than I will make a call to Ivey to see if he has any experience with these and his opinion on them.

seems like I am the only user, although there must be more.
from what I have read here the unit is a little difficult to get working right. I had no issues, basically the first set of numbers I put in were within a few points of being correct .
the thing will do anything you want it to, its a nice part, capable of interfacing with other aftermarket installations. triggering on or off and triggering other pieces. if you have read their install download you know how much this thing can do.
unless you are in need of a sophisticated ebc you can get the stock ecu to do a good job with some flashing.
When I bought the part I needed something, however with the new developments in ecuflash I could get by without it now. however I am not removing it to go stock, because it is right where I want it.

I ran the first generation e-boost on my old sti. It has tons of usefull features but it takes a while to get everything dialed in. I really liked this EBC! When ever I start modding my IX this will be the EBC that I use.
