if you're not on a standalone just use IX BOV or something like a FORGE recirculating bov

I've been told several times that the IX BOV will hold 30psi or somewhere close.

i use a turbo xs rfl bov seems to hold up well

Then do it if you want. Aren't they expensive though? Some people like to stick to certain manufacturers though which is perfectly ok but you could save a buck or two with alternatives. good luck with your selection

ix dv/jdm mr dv DOESN'T hold 30psi of boost. each one maybe a little different, but about 22-25psi
I had metal dv and it didn't hold over 23psi.
One of the best bov is APS twin vent, it's a partial recir type. i said so many good things about it, just search.

JDM version should already be on the IX (all metal type not the plastic ones on the 03 VIII); or do you have do you have something different?
