NEW HTA GREEN tested at Buschur Racing

We got the new HTA Green in from Forced Performance and got it on Trent's EVO.

Trent's car was running the EVO8 stock turbo, our exhuast manifold and a SS 02 housing before this testing. We swapped out the turbo.

The car was dyno'd at 25 psi of boost on both turbos, 93 octane, AFR's were in the 11.2-11.3 range.

After 4,000 rpm the new HTA Green just walks away from the stock turbo and at 7100 rpm is up 43 whp and 31 ft lbs of torque.

The losses down low, when you look at the numbers side by side appear to be large but I think if you look deeper into the power curve it's pretty clear the HTA Green is the winner. It would dominate in any type of race that the car was going to be allowed to rev over 3800 rpm in

Here's the dyno sheet.

Here are some numbers for comparison:

Code:
Stock EVO8 HTA Green Stock EVO8 HTA Green
Torque Torque Horsepower Horsepower
3000 282 233 166 134
3500 344 322 231 217
4000 354 353 272 271
4500 340 347 293 299
5000 322 340 308 326
5500 302 329 317 346
6000 278 308 319 353
6500 259 283 320 351
7100 237 267 316 359
Enjoy your day, we are off to Indy for the WW event.

Very nice data... I wonder what the difference is between a IX turbo, current green and then this new HTA green. I wonder how it will do for us guys that use meth and race gas...

Dave, do you think this turbo would excel at 30+ PSI?

Im going to say something.... as it appears its going to continue instead of waiting for an answer.....

PLEASE STOP SAYING +1, +2, etc.... its NOT needed.

All its doing is cluttering up the thread already with WORTHLESS / USELESS posts for people to sort through when they come in looking for info.

The question will be answered soon when David gets off the dyno im sure.

+1 Jarrod I agree.

Any chance you could do a spool comparison Dave like you do sometimes?

Thanks Buschur for MORE testing. Jeesh it's like everyday now. Awesome!
