Oil Smells like gas

Well i did an oil change today and i noticed that my oil smelled like gas. Now i didn't smell it till i dropped the drain pan and got the oil on my fingers. Is this normal or no? Should i be concerned? Get the re tuned? All my mods are in my signature. Thanks in advance

What color is the oil? What oil are you using? Blowby or extreme rich condition is usualy the cause of this. How does the car run?

Car probably is running too rich, consider a retune.

What size injectors are you running and do you have a wideband? Tune? AEM? Stock ECU?

Your oil shouldnt smell like gas if it is you are washing out the cylinders and the gas is seeping down past the rings into the oil pan.

Stock injectors, no wideband, tuned by Turbo Trix, no AEM and stock ECU

Well personally i would put a wideband on it and see what you are getting. All these people have no idea what they are talking about. Gas will actually break down the oil and you will eventually get bearing damage if it gets bad. There is no reason for gas to be in the oil pan unless you are running extreamly rich or have another problem somewhere else. Specially on stock injectors it just doesnt make sense unless the tune is off.

This is just my opinion believe who you want to believe since everybody seems to be a 63 expert nowdays.. ..

Sounds normal to me. My oil smells like gas all the time when I change it. 63k miles, tuned to 11.5-11.8 AFR.
