SBR 2.5L Put to the test! Slowboy Rally engine takes to the streets!
So I will give you a little background on this. The engine is a 2.5L stroker that we used in our Evo IX Rally car for X-Games 13 last year in Los Angeles. We have since retired it from rally and did a quick freshen up on it for our street Evo IX. We did some testing with the stock turbo and a bit with a 50 trim. Now we are tired of the small stuff and we are going Big Hammer on it. Pics below, please discuss.

About the intake manifold, I was going to ask that one. That looks like a stock T/B only turned 90 degrees CW. Is the IAC still connected/working? Is there a connection for EGR/ OEM MAP Sensor?
Correct me if I am wrong, but I don't believe there to be ANY intake manifold that all your stock parts can bolt up to. It would be nice if someone made something like that. Pull the stock, swap ALL parts over, and re-bolt on...

Tell us how the 2.5 spools that monster turbo. Is the mani or turbo twin scroll. It doesn't appear to be, but I don't remember if the DNP T4 TS mani has twin dumps. How high are you reving the 2.5? What's the cost on the 2.5 short block (it's not on the website)?

HAFE intake manifold -
Just as an FYI - there are four shops around the US (and a few out of the US) with this manifold on cars... once HAFE gets all the feedback and changes people would like to see done, a finished product will certainly be available.
Thanks for the feed back - working on getting everything buttoned up over the next 24-48 hours to run on the dyno.
I do know a GT35R car in Jamaica that just made 605 WHP (30 PSI) with our 2.4l and this intake manifold (HAFE), and a HAFE GT35R turbo kit.
So far so good - we will keep everyone posted as we are trying to get back into the swing of bolting on new parts and testing all the time!

Hope fully HAFE takes peoples recomendations to heart. Because I have the HAFE exhaust mani and housing and the bolt pattern on the o2 housint SUCKS. It is nearly impossible to get long enough bolts in it to hold it to the exhaust side.
Good luck tho on the other stuff

Slowboy what the hell... you literally are offering no info. No numbers... no descriptions. I mean you are one of the first shops to run this size crank, one of the first to ever run a stock turbo on a 2.4 much less 2.5. I mean seriously, give us some info!
How did the stock turbo spool? Did it surge? What numbers did it make? What cams have you been using? Why are you making us ask all the obvious questions?
Have you done back to back test with the Hafe intake versus stock?
