clutch ?

i got a prolite XACT flywheel, ACT 6 puck clutch with Xtream pressure plate about 1600 miles ago. right now, the clutch doesn't release until the pedals almost at the top. can this just be an adjustment issue or did i already screw up my clutch? what would i look for if the clutch was screwed up? As of right now, it doesn't slip.

You need to adjust it so there is free play at the top, otherwise it will prematurely wear out - saying this from first hand experience.

free play at the top means the pedal will move with very little effort before it gets resistance and actually moves the clutch plate.

how long b4 having the clutch release at such a high point will the disc start to
have issues?

what i'm thinking is that since the clutch is released at such a high point that even while the clutch pedal is released, the pressure plate still has pressure on it and then the clutch wouldn't be fully engaged.

how do u kno if the clutch is not engaged fully?

or is that just a stang thing? lol.

Then find a man to take care of you and tell you that "it's alright, lemy take care of it baby.." And then service him like a good girl should.
