No one cares.

Organized Import Drag Racing is dying and not one of the big shops participates in organized drag racing (exceprt Mike from USP)

In the absense of a sanctioning body and rules for racing there is no set standard of what is acceptable

Who is to say that fake plastic doors attached with clips IS ok - a liquid to air ice filled fmic IS ok but a back half is NOT ok ?

Last time I checked there were many back halfed cars running at Import Drag events.

At the end of the Day - Buschur has the fastest real street Evo - the Bad Bish

and

he will soon have the fastest all drag evo - PERIOD as some used to say (or at least that is what I hope for)

Rather than complain and make excuses others need to get moving - that is what Buschur has been doing and where they are going

You know after talking to Indy Evo i am going to weld more bars across my fire wall for safety. Man Indy has some story's about how many people he has seen killed racing

Who decides what is a "true" evo and what is a "false" evo ?

My suggestion is to stop thinking of excuses and get busy trying to find ways to go faster becuase Buschur and others will be stepping up the game this year

There are no rules about whom has the fastest Evo
here's a gift for swinging the most

OK seriously Paul is right the car should not be include it

I guess the big question here that has everyone excited is "What IS an EVO" for the sake of this drag race competition.

Stock is one extreme. The FAR extreme is an EVO shaped fiberglass body on a 6000HP funny car. Somewhere in the middle lies our answer.

EVO shell on a tube frame with EVO drivetrain?
Chevy RWD drivetrain in a full interior stock bodied EVO?
ALL mitsu drivetrain and only 1/2 tubular (front or rear)?
ALL EVO drivetrain with full EVO chassis?

And WHO gets to decide where to stop? The major player shops? The customers? The media? EVOM moderators?

I say we make a poll let it run for a month and make our classes up???
I say evo community decides not any shop

Personally i understand where Paul and Al are coming from but since we are not in a Nopi/Nhra event IMO its free rain on what you want to do. I believe as long as the Evo has a 4G63/4G64 engine and is still AWD then anything goes.

On a side note...lol... Looks like it was a great event!

Jeff, Your car makes 650 ish and runs low 10's with the tires you have , I think it's time to take up David on his offer to run his DOT tires, from what I've seen your car is the closest to a full weight street car and is more impressive than a 900+ car that runs 9.20's with nos .
