Anyone please correct me if I am wrong, but from what I understand:
30R= .60 A/R comp. side
35R= .70 A/R comp. side ..............

Oh, whats that, data log lab.... his car makes it on a dyno

What does your car make on a dyno, post up numbers of a dyno run not some datalog.

your are wrong

a gt35r does have a .70 ar compressor housing 90% of the time but then can be had with a smaller more compact .60ar compressor housing. the ,70 ar hosuing is called a S housing and a .60ar is called an E housing.

a gt30R can also have both the S or E cover but they do have the E .60 ar compressor housing 90% of the time.

you are wrong
that tells you nothing but the housing size

both the turbos can be have with a .63 or .82 or 1.06 ar turbine housing. both turbos can also be had with the .70 ar or the .60 ar compressor housing. gt35r does have the .70 ar compressor cover 90% of the time and .60 ar for the gt30r 90% of the time.

thats funny because my 3076r made 504whp and 456wtq at 29psi with 93octane and meth. and i had a throttle body seal leak when i made this kind of power.

sooooooooo..............

knock it all you want, I've had countless customer cars go to the dyno after I ran their logs through DLL and in every case but two, they got more HP from a dyno...that's likely because I use conservative weights/altitudes/temperatures in DLL.

one of them got 6awhp less on the dyno then DLL, one got 50awhp less but we found out later that he dicked with the tune himself before hitting the dyno.

the rest got more power.

Neither the dyno nor the DLL is perfect, it's just a tool to give you an idea. My car trapped 100mph in the 1/8th on straight 93 octane at 30psi so you tell me how much power it takes to do that with a full weight evo.

you're not comparing apples to apples fella...I'm running straight 93 octane, you're adding meth

for what it's worth with c16 and 4* more timing mine showed 560awhp without touching the boost and at the same afr as pump gas.

good luck making the argument that the 3076 is comparable to the 35R

well i dont have cam gears my friend. so there u go.also dont have the most aggressive cams, which will change soon.

ps: my point is its not 100hp diff, when comparing the two with same boost levels. now the 30r maxes out at about 30psi but the 35r will go on to 35+

as I expected, here come the excuses and back pedaling...

I don't have cam gears either and HKS 280's with the stock springs/retainers... I have a set of Bushcur BF 272 sitting here though.

no excuses, u said u added 4 deg timing. that says to me that u have cam gears, unless we are talking about spark.

and im thinking upgradeing my hks 272 to S3's

Why dont you call buschur, im sure they will be more then happy to tell you the differance between the two. maybe there is a size differance that you can measure the two and find out. i dont know alot about either turbo but buschur has helped me out alot, thats what there good at.

no, I'm adding timing in the timing map within the stock ECU....in my opinion a well designed cam doesn't need cam gears.

and it's ironic, here's one for the DLL doubters... I just so happened to get an e-mail from one of my customers that went to the dyno.

His DLL said 338/294

His Dyno 351/310

so, tell me which one is inflating the numbers?

Neither, they are two imperfect ways of replicating how much power the car would put down when being driven on a road.

There are so many ways to manipulate either your logs or a dyno to read differently that unless done on the same stretch of road at the same side of day or under the exact same conditions on the same dyno they cannot be compared.

You are running a 35R, he is running a 30R, he is making 100 ft lbs more tq than you in RPM ranges that you are in all the time daily, two different animals, not to be confused, or compared really they both are good at doing two very different things.
