The big thing i noticed with all this 30psi tuning i have seen on pump gas is that the Tq numbers aren't that impressive, which tells me that the car is lacking timing. Dont get me wrong, Mellon is making great numbers on his setup but I would really go the race gas route to get more TQ.
On 110 sunoco i made 50whp more on my 35r than my 3065 with 2 pounds less boost, so yes, 2 different animals.
My 3065 also had the .70 a/r comp. (S cover) and the FP turbine housing which you couldn't even tell the diff from a 35r. At first glance you would swear that my 30r was a 35r. It wasn't until i got the .82 hotsided 35r that i could tell the diff

soon I'll be ordering the br built 2.0 and head and install the bf 272 cams and finally get to take full advantage of the turbo. I'm just getting started.

From my experience, DLL reads very similar to dynojet figures as well, one example is when Mellon tuned mine, he gave me a chart of about 310hp, and I got 315-320 on the roller.

But back to the OP's discussion, from seeing the power charts in general, it looks like GT30R's spool up is very gradual where as 50trim and 35R is much much steeper, like an on/off switch.

I feel ya, im making awesome power with the stock head and HKS cams, only just touching the potential of this turbo.

I wish there were more cars out there with 2.3's running BF cams. I dont know enough about the cam to buy it. Why dont you let me know the specs on those things so I can finally conclude my search for the best street cam

word on the street is the BF 272 is close to the Jun 272 and Tomei 280's and both of those are fantastic cams and one thing you can't ignore is the amount of 135mph + pump gas cars buschur is cranking out with the HTA 35R + BF 272 cams.

I'd like to have the specs too but I'm confident that I have one of, if not THE best cam for the car.

No doubt that they make awesome power. I just want to see the trade off in low/mid range. I really wanted Martin to test the Jun cams so I would have at least an Idea of the BF 272. Im not sure that I liked how much low end the Tomie 280's lost. I also can't ignore the fact that I am on a 2.3 so the trade off might not be bad especially if the head is ported.
