GT30 vs. GT35r

I'm a noob at this big turbo stuff. I'm pretty good at small turbos but I was just wondering how you can tell a difference between a GT30 and a 35r? I'm going to buy a 35r locally and I just want to make sure it is a 35r (Buschur kit).

I'm not even sure. Tell him to show you the receipt.

A 35r is noticably bigger than a 30r. Im not how else you would tell. Besides like he said a receipt.

Edit: I believe the exhaust side is the one that is bigger so.

But I haven't got a GT30 to compare to his 35r...so I guess saying that the exhaust side is bigger on the 35r doesn't do much. Haha...I guess I will just have to ask for a receipt. (didn't even think of that to begin with...that's why I have this community help!)

I would but I don't want to wait. If I were to wait, it'd be for the HTA35r.

no way man. i made 400whp on pump and 21.5 psi. 35r's are making about 420-450whp with the same boost.

21psi is a waste of a big turbo...

here's my 35R on 93 octane @ 30psi...I make more torque than you make horsepower

look and see if it says A/R .70 on the compressor housing. and either .63 or .82 on the hotside. if so more than likely it's a 35r
