Ebc/mbc Or Gm Boost Solenoid?

I Was Told That I Can Get A Mbc Or Ebc (knew This) But That A Boost Solenoid Would Be Better. Just Wanted Someone's Insite.

Current Mods Purchased Are
Fp Evo 8 Green Turbo
Nesie Licp
Turbine Housing Porting
Welbr 225 Fuel Pump
Arp Head Bolts
Greddy 720cc Injectors
Invidia Turbo Outlet
Testpipe
Hks 272/10 8in 10.2 Cam
Hks Filter
Defi Red Racer 52mm Boost Gauge

Tune Planing To Have Reese Tuning Do It, If You Have Comment On This Tuning Shop Let Me Know, I Want To Make Sure My Car Is In Good Hands.

manual boost controller your boost will spike then taper to redline.

Where as a ebc will spike and try and maintain that boost lvl. My hks evc does it and so does the apexi avcr and greddy profec b.

As for the gm boost solenoid not sure as we know i was told i was wrong. lol.

edit:dont need the jdm map sensor

Get the GM solenoid....you WONT regret it...I have tuned a few car with this and the results are great!

You DONT need the JDM map sensor for the GM Solenoid to work...

Go for the GM boost solenoid. Boost is more consistant, spools faster and doesn't spike as much. Ditched the Hallman MBC for it.

i just had a lengthy converstion about this with johnbradley and it comes down to what level of flexibility would you prefer. A mbc is simpler, cheaper, and it takes 12 seconds to throw in some c16 and turn a nod instead of pulling out the laptop and throwing in a flash whenever you want to change your boost level. As far as boost taper, put in a better wastegate actuator.

You wont regret going GM solenoid and Reese Tuning! Reese Tuning just got done installing my green,cams/ret&springs and I decided to go GM as well and I could not be happier with the result! James and Alan@ Reese Tuning were awesome throught the process, quick turnaround time and excellent customer service!! They even got in touch with me the next day to make sure everything was still running smooth.

It takes a 1/4 sec to flip the switch and change maps with Ecu-boost and the alt map mod.

So is a mbc really that bad, i planned on getting one as it only cost about 115 dollars
