i just put in my newer 16g with the 10.5 hotside and megan o2 housing and i was wondering if i put some oil in the oil hole for the turbo cause obviously you dont want a turbo running with no oil even for a couple secs right?

another quick question for anyone whos installed a megan racing o2....the bracket that bolts up the stock o2 housing to the block isnt available on the megan o2????? wtf?....i found it kinda odd they dont want the extra strength to tighten everything else up....but i figure once everything else like the oil lines...coolant lines and the manifold are installed it'll be rather snug tho

 

Do an oil change so that you'll have fresh oil in there. It is good to fill the turbo's oil feed line with a little squirter bottle. If not just single tap the ignition key so that the engine doesn't start. Do it until the oil pressure indicator light turns off.

you will be fine without it. That is how all aftermarket o2 housings are.
