Dipstick reading

So, I changed the oil over the weekend. Must have not gotten all the oil out, because after putting in 4.5 qts, I'm a bit high. Maybe 2-3mm above the top mark on the dip stick. Can I leave it or do I need to get under there and drain a bit of oil out?

you should be fine for the most part. If you lose sleep over it, the easiest way to remove about a quart of oil is idle the car for 30 secs. then take off the oil filter. If you do it by the drain plug, it might be difficult to screw the plug back in since a lot of oil is rushing out. Not sure if unscrewing just enough till oil comes out works...

As far as I can tell, the reading I've got corresponds to overfilling by 1/4 quart...I think I am OK (considering some cars came from the dealer 1 qt. over). So I don't think I'm gonna do it. But thanks for the advice, the oil filter is a good idea (I know it won't drain all the oil cause I punctured it taking it off without an tray underneath, and I certainly didn't get 5 qts all over my driveway...)

I'm a little over full from the oil change I did last weekend. I might do the filter method, but I feel it'll be alright. As long as it isn't a ton over full. Few ounces are fine. Turbo engines burn a little oil anyway, eh?

Let the car idle for 10 seconds then recheck. It'll go down when the filter fills up with oil.
