Finally, an Offical Evolution 02 DUMP!!!!

Just got my 02 dump TODAY!!!!!!!!! I got the first production run, #1 of what would absolutely become a Staple mod. Why this mod was not made sooner, I will never know. This dump will no doubt make boost controll much better and hold boost pressure better as well. It also makes your exhaust more efficient as it is not fighting the turbulance after being redirected back into the exhaust stream. Of course the sound it makes is the #1 reason to own one, really adds a serious note to your ride.

This Dump can be purchased here.

Video's can be seen here....

A Tip for those installing these. You may as well port the HOT side and the Exhaust manifold. while you are at it down there.

Here is my certificate of authenticity stating that I have the absolute 1st 02 dump, which appears to be made with love; AWESOME!!!!

Totally awesome!!!!!!!

Pics of the 02 Dump....

I can't wait!!! After install Im'a get some tuning done and no doubt enjoy the banshee unleashed, dumps should be MANDATORY on all turbo cars. They came standard on the Ferrari F40, why not the Evo

I'll post up install and Video's after it's done.

That's sick man!!!

Well now that this is a big hit on the evo's, let me ask a question.
If this way to be installed on my car with an existing turboback exhaust, headers, and cone filter, would I need a tune?

At this point I dont have it tuned and wasn't sure if running an o2 dump would be harmful to the engine?

Nawww. Tunign would only help. It adds power accross the board. Better spool from the better flowing 02, better boost control off the dump. It's a SOLID mod, easilly 15WHP from an OEM 02 housing.

This seems like a great idea, simple solution to an exhaust turbulance problem. How come no one else has done this yet, any unexpected problems? Is the install any more difficult than a typical tubular O2 due to the seperate dump adding size? Where does the gas exit from the dump?

^ The reason no one has made it is because it a pain to try and make it fit. They have 2 versions...people with stock LICP and one for people with aftermarket LICP. It kinda pisses me off no other Vendors came on here and gave EvoPowerMods props for getting it done.

You sure you got the first one? b/c couple weeks ago I was at a shop, there was a customer there to have his O2 dump installed, and he told me he bought it from evopowermods.com and that's how I came to know O2 dump is being made for evo.
according to my tuner, it is only worth 5hp compare to the aftermarket o2 housing.

I could see that, however I remember Al tuned a car with a custom one and from what I remember he could give the car more timming. I know it has to help with heat control and lower EGTs. Im sure in the right application (FP Green) or something like that with 400+ WHP it could offer a lot more power than a Megan ect.
