Are you sure that "silencer" is removable? It looks like it goes real far back like its part of the exhaust. I wouldnt pull it out/ attempt to without contacting the manufacturer or distributor. Thats alot of money to ruin in a haste to remove a silencer that isnt a silencer. Maybe you should install it first and see how loud it is for yourself.

Just remove the bolts (like the one in the above pic) holding the silencer in. They're usually allen head. From your pictures, it looks like there's at least one on each side. I've never seen them in the side of the tip like that. Most of the time there's only one bolt at the bottom of the exhuast tip.

That exhaust looks friggin' sweet!

To take the silencer out, remove the screws, and pull out the silencer. you must use a slide hammer (google it), its essentially a rod with a hook on the end.

They use an "inner" silencer cuz the old way where it sits on the edge, took away from the exhaust.

To get one, any greddy dealer should be able to special order them

No O2 bung

I was just about to install my TI-R when I noticed the O2 sensor is located on the stock mid-pipe and the TI-R mid-pipe doesn't have an O2 bung on it . What was everyones solution to this besides welding on a new bung?

I have no idea man, but my "check-engine" light has been on ever since I got the exhaust installed. My tuner said that I'll need to get an "o2 sensor" or something like that in order to remove that annoying check-engine light. He said I could buy it from Auto Zone for like $10-15. I'll have to find it and buy it, and I have to get it installed...Then I'll see if that takes the check-engine warning off.
