stage 2 Almost Complete!

Well is been a long one year trying to finalize the engine and finally we are 90% done. The spec's on the motor are as fallows: New Block, specs where kept to factory 2.0, Cosworth Head, CP Pistions, Crower Rods. The Crank,Head,Valves,Springs,Pistons, and Rods where Calico Coated. The Cosworth Head was sent to Tim Hogan, to make a custom Intake Manifold to match the Head . The entire motor was taken apart after putting it together and it was sent to get Cryo. The headers that you see on the picture where custom made by By Big Al, the header was also treaded by HPC Extreme Coating. The Turbo that you see is a Comp Turbo GT80R, Specs on the Turbo are custom so I cant say what size front or rear wheel but what I can say is that they are Big. The Tranmission is going to be done by Shep Racing hopefully a Dog Box but not sure yet, the shaft was removed and now we have a one piece Carbon Fiber Shaft made by ACPT. The front Mount Intercooler is a Garett 4.5 X 12 X 24. The motor was balanced by the LAZ from Mesa Balancing in Miami. I will post more pictures of the build as soon as I have them,

That's sounds like an X-treme build going on over there.

What form of racing is the car going to be involved with?

I'm by no stretch an expert on things but i'm sure the designer of the I/M has his reasons for having the plenum sized as it is.....unless it just looks smaller than it really is

[The car will be a daily driver and some drag racing at the track but for fun. It will have a full body and A/C left on the car. The I/M was built by TIm Hogan to match the Cosworth Head...
