I daily drive my Evo with the carbonetics twin. Coudn't be happier.
Pedal is not hard, very easy to drive.
I have about 15k miles on it and still holding.
Contact Mike at Mynes Performance he will hook u up with the best price.

I know of three friends with Evo 9's down here that have had problems with the Carbonetics.

Two of them had the clutch literally fail apart and damage gearbox and one of them had part of the basket blow through the bell housing and through the silicone coupler to the turbo compressor inlet.

One of them had some of the bolts back out but caught it.

I suspect it's installation error but I'd never run one after seeing that first hand.

I run the Exedy Twin and am upgrading to the triple with AMS pull to push as recommended by Shep. I'm on 2.4 and 35R.

Carbonetics are one if not the only Carbon clutches that can be daily driven.
I have a triple that is amazing, you can just slip the crap out of the clutch and not even worry about it.
Wont lock you out either like Exedy HD do since they are metallic.

I happen to have a like new triple carbonetics clutch for sale if you are interested. Thats just coincidence though . I had a double carbonetics clutch in it before the triple and couldnt be happier. Lasted almost 2 years before i pulled it out, and when I pulled it out it still had a good amount of life left on it. And that was after alot of abuse and launches on the double.

Orc is pretty good, only driven it in a skyline, OS giken is also very good. Not sure if they make clutches for evo though, ORC does a single plate for the evo afaik.

what is wrong with the HKS? they should be holding the power, but more snappy to drive. ORC is much more streetable.

I've had terrible experiences with the carbonetics/ats tripple carbon!! The floater plates would always warp and then I had the plates [carbon] desintegrate taking out a host of other components

actully the hks is doing its job but i had to change the pins on the clutch twice .
and my frnds using hks has done the same thing so its kinda manafacturing fault .
im running hks since 2 years .the gud part of this clutch is that we can get the rebuild for 500 $ .
