Putting in a walboro (sp?) 255 fuel pump saturday

Do I need any special tools to put in a wal. 255 fuel pump?

I bought one from ETS any pointers? I have a friend who's taken about 100 gas tanks apart helping, but he's never done a mitsu one. (he's a retired chassis mechanic for Ford)

thanks but... are there any tips that aren't in that? - I had found that before just looking for other pointers... wanted to make sure I had all of the details double covered as when I installed my a-pillar gauges with the same friend it took longer than the install said it would

I try not to **** off friends when they help lol

Fuel pumps are stupid easy to install. No special tools needed, just your average mechanic tool set (which you can count the number of different tools used on one hand).

Only pain in the *** part is getting the assembly in/out, which just requires patience and a few curse words.

my friend has done hundreds of the ford ones... you know like when an assembly plant builds 1000 cars a day and they all a sudden find out that half of the last weeks production has a defective fuel pump that fails after 30 miles and then they have to bring all the cars back to the factory and change them all....

Yeah I agree, to easy. The hardest part is getting the pump assembly out that little hole. Easy install. You don't need much more guidance than what EvoMoto has to offer. Sealed Deal!
