2.3 stroker or 2.4 ? help please
hi, I wanna stroke my car to 2.3 or 2.4 but cant decide yet
2.3 set up
cp pistons 85.5mm bore
eagle h type rods
custom 2.3 crank
or
brain crower 2.4 kit
cp pistons 86mm bore
BC 4340 billet steel, 7 bolt crankshaft (102mm stroke).
BC 4340 steel Econo (600hp) rated or Pro (800hp) Series billet rods w/ARP 220,000 psi fasteners.
but I think we have eccono rods here
I have a high flow turbine its an upgraded evo 9 turbo did the upgrade in japan like the evo green kinda rated 420 hp on 1.2 bar with a gd tune not tested yet
I would like to have more tourqe + if theres any reason not to go with 2.4 please state why I did some research but still I am confused some ppl say its gd some say its worst than 2.3 and some say it have more tq at the beging but not all the way like the 2.3 I am not looking for big rpm range past 7500 rpm I will be driving it daily and for street racing, any ideas thoughts would be apperciated.

Interesting discussion. For those of you who are saying stay away from the 4G64, what are you basing your discussion on? Do you have personal experience with this block or are you intimately knowledgeable on this block and design? I have a 4G64 block and crank and am trying to decide what to do with it. Thanks for INTELLIGENT replies and discussion.
