If i was to upgrade my internals on my evo motor would i be able to run 30+ psi on 93 octane? And would it be safe? Or would I be better off running meth from a aquamist kit for 30+psi on stock internals?

i would upgrade internals on anything over 25psi... meth or without.. it isnt worth any damage i personallly am not going over 22 on my stock internals just because i want to see 200k miles on my car one day haha

um no. You are still limited by the ability of the fuel for detonation. If you were runing meth/alchy then I would say yes you would be safe.

but then again I am not a fan of meth/alchy injection if it doesnt have a very good failsafe system.

I don't see how internals matter in running 30psi on pump...?
It's also interesting that no one seems to care what turbo you will run that 30 psi on...Which kinda matters more..

Stock turbo and 30 psi should be fine on stock internals. Anything bigger than stock turbo will be pushing it.

30 psi is 30 psi it dosent matter the turbo you have, 30 psi is gonna make you scatter your internals all over the road. the stock turbo isn't efficient on 30 psi, 24 is really your limit before you are just blowing hot air.

Um NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO

hahahahahahahahahahah come on man

take a look at some compressor maps, and tell me what you find out

the stock turbo is way out of the efficiency islands at 30psi and all its doing is blowing hot air

where as say a HTA35r at 30psi will be much more efficient and have lower IAT.

and how would you explain all the 30 psi 93oct buschur cars out there? i dont see their internals all over the road

see my post above

30 psi on a stocker isnt gonna be efficent and an upgrade in fuel (meth, racegas) should be used if your gonna try this

30 psi on a stock turbo is much different then 30psi on a 35r.

I know that JohnBradley was running 30 psi on his green on pump with out any type of injection and the stock internals were just fine

aquamist kits are top notch and have excellent failsafes!

I guess you smoke crack for fun.

I guess all turbos flow the same amount of air at the same psi regardless if it's a 16G or a 42R.

I guess a stock turbo at 24psi is just as fast as a stock turbo at 30psi on alky/race gas.

You should REALLY re-check your sources for the information (read:verbal diarrhea) you're spreading. People like you are making EvoM dumber by the minute.

how did you come to the conclusion that 30psi with the stock turbo will brake the engine? I am very interested.
