Rear Diff Axle Seal leaking?
I was at the shop the other day and I had the Evo up on the lift. I was working on the 3" DP putting some heat wrap on it. I had a friend stop by and as he walked under the car he said Hey there is something leaking back here..... So I stopped what I was doing and walked to the back of my car to look up and see fluid leaking out of the rear passenger side axle its not bad but its a slight leak. I'm guessing its the axle seal.
Any Ideas? I'm going to be buying a new axle seal from the dealer and changing it out my self so this will give me a better look from where its coming from once i have the car apart.
O yea the fluid was just changed with the DiaQueen less then 6000 miles ago.
The gasket on the rear diff still looks good that also could be a prob but it seems to be fine.
P.s anyone know where I can buy the rear passenger side axle seal online? Since dealers are known to kill with prices.
