BR's dyno testing and new parts development continues...

Buschur's mod makes perfect sense as long as you don't put a breather in between his setup to create a vacuum leak.
The factory setup works but sucked in oil, with the catch can you now just suck in the fumes. Then by ditching the PCV and using that fitting as an additional source to vent the valve cover you doubled the amount the inlet pipe can suck out of the head while under boost.
And this stops possible issues like the PCV not completely closing while WOT and pressurizing the crankcase even more.
I have a similar setup but still use the factory PCV, I'll tweak it after seeing this.

...I hate catch cans...We do not sell, use or suggest oil catch cans because non of them work the way I wanted them to.
Now, I want to give some credit to Crawford Performance because they actually make a catch can for the Subaru's that works. I used one on my Subaru from them and it worked perfectly.

Confused...I have questions
1) If you hate them, and don't sell them, why are you working on a catch can product?
2) Did you just buy a Crawford product sample, and now you are going to build a similar product ??? What does Crawford think about this?
3) Have the emission regulations changed recently, and I just missed it? All this time I thought it was illegal to vent to atmosphere, what happened?
4) If nobody wants the sludge and gunk in the manifold, why would they want it back in the pan?
5) Price?
These are just questions, questions lead to discussion, discussion leads to a better product.
Play nice.

Actually, yes.
I finally received the correct laser cut pieces Wednesday of this week and built the first final unit. I had to build a mount for it.
I have no used my car since then and have not had a chance to do more testing.
I have a few ideas/problems to test and work out yet. I want to make sure when I sell these they are the best they can be. I feel from this thread there is a need for a good catch can so I am not done yet.

I wouldn't mind having another Buschur piece under my hood!

No news, very sorry and you are not being a pest. I have dropped the ball slightly on it because I haven't had time to finish it up and do more testing.
I have all the parts here needed to build them I want to run the car again though, hard, to make sure the oil is staying in the can.
I may get a chance to do that today. If not I will atleast have pictures of the can and post them here.
Thank you for reminding me.
