I'm definitely learning! In summation, drive it like it's stolen, but keep the spool under 160K rpms. We started the new build today with the White on it. It sounds like a beast and the turbo spool is something to hear! Minor things being worked on like fan on/off, Garrett kit, etc. David and I will drive it some tomorrow to break in the engine and just 'feel' the turbo. Start lining up now, I think this one will be a winner if throttle response is any indication.

I bought the first FP "white" turbo from Aneil last month. We bolted it up to my car with...

FP WHITE turbo "49lb per min flow rated"
Invidia O2
3" DP
HKS 3" CatBack, High-Power Exhaust
GSC 280 cams
APS intercooler
tt upper and lower ICP's
Greddy MBC
100% meth
880cc injs
TT 1000twin HP fuel system

We netted around 100 bolt-on hp!!! and it feels like an ALL MOTOR BEAST!!! lol

Waiting on Tcase and 5-speed conversion with custom ratios from shep.

I will keep everyone updated with the Dyno results that we should have in two weeks or so..

Thanks,

George B.

This is a very small, very fast response NTC thermistor (1.6mm bead) IAT sensor mounted in the upper pipe just past the BOV feed tube. It is potted in a 1/8" NPT fitting. It is not used in data collection but for ECU functions. It is so small, an offset must be applied because even a 2.2K pullup supplies enough current to self-heat it.

Depends what dyno you want 400 on. 400 hp on a mustang dyno is going to be tough, even with a FP Green, unless your running higher boost.

It has been asked many times before, but I have yet to hear any comment by FP, could this turbo be made with a TiAL turbine? Would the TiAL help spool, or would it make the turbo more apt to surge? Thanks.

I know someone who hits about 375whp on Mustang dyno on a Green (boosting about 27) on 91 octane. (Imagine that on 93, passed 400awhp, EASILY). He said that u have to sign a waiver (so he wont take responsibility if u blow it up) if u wanna have the same thing he did to his evo.

I guess we'll just have to wait and see what the White can do against the proven one: the Green.

Not many people boost 27psi daily unless you know how to tune an evo. I wouldn't run 27psi daily and especially on 91 octane.

400 on mustang is pretty far fetched on 93 ocatane without every single mod.

I know that not too many people may want to boost on 27 psi daily (let alone, on 91 octane), but hey, if it's possible and works for him (my tuner), then it should be possible and should work for us too.

I think there was a slight miscommunication here. While I would love that statement to be true, The 375whp was done on 100 oct, at 26psi.

I have tuned my personal evo to 27.5psi on 91 octane but haven't got a final dyno number for it yet. I expect it to be below the 100 oct numbers however because of the differences in ignition timing between the two octanes.

The highest I have seen so far on our Mustang dyno with a FPgreen, on 91 oct, was 353whp. There is more left in the car though, but for its level of mods at the time, and, with a safe repeatable, tune that is what it did then. It did 380whp on 100 oct.

Highest so far on our dyno, with a FPgreen is 403whp. 110 octane open-track/autox tune. Probably could have done around 420whp or so on a car bowling tune. Nothing special about the mods on that one either, nothing really ported, all bolt ons, stock motor. Keep in mind that this Evo only weighed 2800lbs so its one fast son-of-a-*****. I expect that record on our dyno to fall soon however.

We have a Evo 9 that made around 305whp on our dyno, with the stock turbo and 91 octane going back on the dyno next week with a FPwhite. Be interesting to see the gains...
