but back to reality, is this going to be better then the green? or between the ix turbo and green.

tmisbk
From everything we know right now, it's suppose to be in between the green and a stock 9 turbo.

FROM FP:

The EVOWhite Model turbocharger features the 68mm HTA compressor section coupled to the TD05H 10.5cm2 turbine section. This combo produces the fastest spool and transient response possible in a EVO9 based turbocharger. The 68HTA compressor increases max flow by 10% over the stock EVO9 compressor wheel without sacrificing any spool.

Well the White is interesting for the price..... but I would still really like to see an HTA upgrade to the Green.

Race gas numbers on the White may swing me the other way.

Maybe. I just know I won't be using race anytime soon. I guess we will just have to wait and see.

From what I hear, the White HTA should be one sweet turbo. The autox'ers and dd's should love it. Quick spool up with better than expected flow and the price is right.

Yea for the price it is pretty interesting but like any other turbo it all depends on what people are looking for.

Wouldn't the fastest spool and transient response available in a journal bearinged IX turbo belong to the factory Mitsu JDM IX RS turbo which features a low mass, low inertia, magnesium comp wheel, as well as a TiAl turbine wheel?

I'm so confused. I understand someone blew the "hush hush" on the white by starting this thread, but why would the consumer purchase the White without giving them more info?

They should have given you more info over the phone atleast. I'm not saying this turbo is not going to perform, but it just seems odd.

Atleast don't start selling it until your ready to break the silence/details.

It's like purchasing a video game because the original was great without seeing the reviews or playing the demo.

Not bashing at all, so please don't quote my message and try to make me look like an idiot.

Would just like to see some results. I almost feel like purchasing this turbo and testing it out.

Good luck, hopefully it will perform!!

I'm picking up a stock IX turbo that I'm thinking about sending in... providing more info and results take place.

Sounds like a winner!
