ANYONE from california posting / knows all about 91 octane......so the sympathy well is running extremely low from us.

if you tuned your car, you have more work to do. no biggy, everone needs to learn, but if you paid someone, look for a different tuner

i make 415 on a dj on 91 & i get 25/27mpg @ 80./90 mph on the hwy.
All mods are listed. So i don't know what your talking about there..... And I didn't tune it myself but I doubt its the tune. I'm working on gett a tactrix cable to swith maps from race to pump. An I have been getting great gas mileage. My last tank which is city and highway was 28.1 mpg. The one b4 that was 27.9

dyno's are meant as a tool to help judge gains for an idividuals car, and help tune.

they are really not more than a really BALL-PARK figure for different cars on different dyno's reguardless if its on the same kind of dyno or not. there are many options and ways for dyno's to put out different readings.

thats why you take these dyno numbers, and the next time you do something to your car, you compare it to this chart, and you can see what you just changed did for your hp/tq. COMMON GUYS
Ok, so I with just an intake, TBE, and EBC I had 260 AWHP with 258 tq. After FMIC, all piping, Evo IX turbo, BC 272 cams, exhaust manifold, O2 housing, Walbro 255, Denso 680 injectors and a new clutch I only gained 60 AWHP? If thats about on par then I'll be happy. O and a new BOV

Hey i am on 91 Oct right now i am at 316Whp and 311TQ. With the following mods

Down pipe and cat back exaust still using the stock cat
Hall man MBC at 21psi
Intake
272 cams and gears
ported exaust manifold
Walbro 255

What boost are u running?? But u should be a lot higher than that. I am only 4WHP less than u and i am still on stock VIII turbo and no FMIC or piping or 02 and i am still using stock injectors. The temp defently hurt u but should not have been that much. I would say it was the temp and the tune. A tune is a lot. I was at 275WHP on the Dyno Jet before i was tuned than tunning tech gave me a tune now i am at 316WHP on 91oct at 21psi

Running almost 25psi tapering to 21psi on 91oct and no knock, except when i forget to shift and bounce it off the rev limiter and that is not the tuners fault.

Those numbers sound good to me. I'm new here and just learning. It sounds like the evo 9 has a good stock turbo.
