Magnus Intake
#34
My point was that they're in the same ballpark, being sheetmetal intakes of similar plenum size. I think the detail work is much better in the Magnus, plus the materials of the sheet seem to be thicker. FWIW, the Weapon-R Aby used had some additional work done to it for added reliability.

FYI - I heard back from Marco.
Files indicate there was only 15 of those ever produced for mitsubishi, most for DSM. 1g and 2g
2 ever for evo's by special request and in different configurations. for custom applications. Both as far as we know were abandoned projects.
They are still made by special request. But are a PITA to construct.
effectiveness of this design. the 3 racers currently running them are
SERGE TURCOTTE 8.5 sec 170mph FWD Mirage
EVAN CLINE (EXEDY CLUTCH) 870hp DYNAPACK
ME. 8.7 @ 170 with the BLUE BUSCHUR SLAYER
they were designed to hold obscene amounts of pressure while maximizing cylinder filling efficiency. As you can see all cylinders fill from the top providing larger radii for the air entering the runner.
