Ok well I think I have an understanding of the data you have.

That is all I wanted to know.

Erik, So it's your estimation that the Weapon R and the Magnus are close enough performance wise to call it a wash between the two?

I don't know if I'd go that far.

My point was that they're in the same ballpark, being sheetmetal intakes of similar plenum size. I think the detail work is much better in the Magnus, plus the materials of the sheet seem to be thicker. FWIW, the Weapon-R Aby used had some additional work done to it for added reliability.

Oh OK, I was'nt trying to put words in your mouth, but I hope you understand it was the quote above that caused my confusion.

effectiveness of this design. the 3 racers currently running them are

SERGE TURCOTTE 8.5 sec 170mph FWD Mirage
EVAN CLINE (EXEDY CLUTCH) 870hp DYNAPACK
ME. 8.7 @ 170 with the BLUE BUSCHUR SLAYER

they were designed to hold obscene amounts of pressure while maximizing cylinder filling efficiency. As you can see all cylinders fill from the top providing larger radii for the air entering the runner.

looks arent everything. Sounds like a lot of R&D went into that design.

Dude, I'm sorry but get a clue. Don't you think they would have made more of them if they were any good?

To the OP, Did Magnus ever answer your email?
