Once we get the Exedy twin disc and new tires we will head back to the track. Best times thus far in the 1/8 mile have been 7.8s. That was when the car was making 350awhp and 320ft-lbs. I was cutting 1.8 60's around that time. I am hoping to get the times down to 7.6s.

BTW...I noticed that my wife's Evo is making very close to the same power as David Buschur's brother's Evo (claimed to be the highest powered Evo w/Evo IX turbo). Pretty darn similar mods. Only real differences are boost and type of dyno dyno'd on. I'd say the difference in boost makes up for the difference in dynos, and the cars are probably making about the same power! Boy would I love to run the two side by side down the strip!

Thanks! Still needs some fine tuning...but Alain has done some great tuning thus far. It is even more impressive to think that this is his first time tuning an Evo IX with an AEM EMS (second time tuning on an AEM EMS period). He is a master with EcuFlash and will soon be one with the AEM!

Also nice job to Alain, though that 4th gear pull makes it impossible to compare to most other Evos in socal. That EMS also makes it difficult since most of us are running stock ECU. Nice work anyway, Alain is a dedicated monster when it comes to tuning

1. Mustang dyno reads lower than a Dynojet. That's a given. It doesn't read A WHOLE lot lower though (what...5-8% or so?).
2. DB's brother's Evo made 375awhp and 366ft-lbs @ 28 psi on 93 octane.
3. My wife's Evo made 352awhp and 373ft-lbs @ 24 psi on 91 octane.
Higher octane not only allows you to run more boost but timing as well.Do the math and the difference in dynos pretty much negates the difference in boost/time. Again, at 26psi and 91 octane we made 404ft-lbs.
