The kit is on, we are only using it for a tiny bit of power, the main reason I am leaving it on there for now is the safety factor. I will think about taking it off after I see what the new numbers are when I get my new Intake Manifold in and re-tuned, and also what the race gas numbers are. I am waiting for an Indy V2 manifold, then its gettung a touch up tune, and a race gas tune!
Thank You to everyone for the compliments!

Congrads Brian and enjoy your ride. David said this is a "good one" so take your time and learn to drive it. I'm sure once you get used to it and replace the intake manifold, the touch up tune will net you some pretty big gains. Have fun and be safe. Indy

Thank for all the compliments!
Indy, I can not wait to have your work of art on my car! I got to see it on Daves car last week and it is Beautiful! I am so thankful that I get to put it on my car!
Scheides- No, its an 03 BBY!
As for the Meth kit, I love the SMC kit, it is much better for my set-up than the Aquamist kit. All SS lines and the controller plugs directly into the AEM EMS for the failsafe. If it detects an error, it automatically trips the EMS to cut timing.
We are only doing it for the safety. At this power level on the street, there is no need to be driving around with gobs of power. When it goes to the track, it will be on Q16, and therefore, the meth is just a safety factor on the street.
I am currently looking at a 1G that has been done by Buschur for my DD.
JMartinez- The car should be good for 30+ mpg.

congrats, brian. Looks like you have one badass Evo.
My only advice: the first time you hammer the throttle, make sure you have BOTH hands firmly on the wheel. Even my car, with its measly 420whp, wants to fight me when I go WOT on public roads.
Enjoy

^^^Thank You! Yea I understand its going to be a handful. One good thing is I have a couple friends who have lost their licences due to street racing and being stupid, so that has helped me realize that the street is not the place for this kind of power! That is one reason that I am looking at another car for a DD. But between my friends and lots of talking with me dad, David, Tom and the other Buschur guys, has made me rethink alot of stuff and really set back and think about driving smart!
