Sorry to revive this, but just did a swap for an Evo 6 with USDM Evo 8 ECU and MAF, and its running fine with tephra V7, except for not having launch control or NLTS and the fan is always on. No cells.

I followed this instructions from Lancer Register:

jonmorera, is the manual you posted good for USDM Evo 8 ECU to Evo 6 GSR? In the manual your last advice is not mentioned:

"You need put together the 32 and 21 wire and conect it to pin 34 in the EVO 8 ECU.
also put together the 34 and 20 wire and conect these to pin 32 in the EVO 8 ECU."

Do we need to do the above as well when using an Evo 8 USDM Ecu?

I´m also getting some inflated high loads and maf Hz readings in this Evo 6 using V7 rom, doesn´t happen in another USDM Evo 8
I´ve been tuning with the same rom. Maybe some signal or compensation table is inflating the airflow for the Evo 6.

Thanks for any help,

Ricardo

Just so everyone knows, the CORRECT way to do this swap is:

Swap pins 8 and 22
P
ut together pin 32 and pin 21 wires and connect them to pin 34
Put together pin 34 and pin 20 wire and connect them to pin 32
Disconnect pin 87
