Man oh man, I have to get my hands on this turbo. David, has there been any said price for core exhchanges or anything? I have a IX turbo I would like to upgrade, but I don't know if there's such an option or how much down time it would have if it even existed. Any word?

Here are the race gas results.

Final boost hit 38 psi, 4th gear pulls on both the pump gas and race gas.

We drained the tank and put in VP Q16 fuel. AFR's were 11.7-11.8:1 throughout the pull.

We gained 64 ft lbs of torque and 30 whp by going to the race gas and tuning.

Here is the chart.

Pretty large difference in power from Trent's car to 9sec9's car. This goes to show that everything adds up. Start using inferior parts, stock ECU's, crappy FMIC etc and then throwing a Red at it or any other turbo upgrade the power is not going to be stellar like 9sec9's or Trent's is.

Peak boost is very close on both cars +/- 1 psi.

Enjoy.

I haven't heard anything as far as core's go. I think right now there were 15 new turbos available and the plan was to sell those 15 new units before starting a core/upgrade program.

Now that looks nasty! Is Trent gonna run it at the track with race gas? I can see very low 10's!

Why 4th (rather than 3rd) gear pulls?

BR Ported stock intake/BR 65 mm throttle body.

Indy, running it that lean means it wearing out sooner and since I don't think Trent is ready for the financial burden of building this car again..........11.7 sound plenty lean

Trent is planning to run it tonight.

I am going to update his mod list from the 1st post.
