TedB hit the nail on the head. I'm sure some people still won't get it though. They are the bench racers, dyno dorks, and don't know the difference between one dyno pull on a tune on the ragged edge for one highway pull a month vs. 30 minutes of all out hardcore road racing at a time and the reliability this demands.

BillAce, I'm sure it got lost in the crossfire, but I still would like to know more about your bottom end/internals, balance shafts or lack thereof, etc. on the 4G64. Secret?

A TS T3 1.06 is still a moderately sized hotside. But if you think about it, 480whp on 93+meth with a moderate 28psi is pretty good for a 3076R with a regular .63 A/R open T3 and the same combination. But, the open T3 isn't going to deliver 300whp by only 3500rpm, and that's the difference.

This car is going to be a ton of fun on the street.
I don't see 300 whp at 3500 rpm on any of the posted dyno sheets. Where are you seeing this?

I find it interesting that the extra load from 4th equals a 500 rpm improvement @300 whp when compared to 3rd gear. Can we assume that using 5th gear would improve the curve by another 500 rpm?

How come we don't regularly see this difference in other dyno sheets? Also, don't most post dynojet #s using 3rd gear??

Sorry for all the questions.

Hey BillACE are you the guy with the white evo with like a green pearl in the paint? If so I've seen your car a lot. I saw it sometime last year in Ivey's shop. If I remember correctly the kit wasn't finished be installed yet. Then I saw it at JNZ Tuning right? Yeah I was just there a month or so ago and was talking to Chris about your car. Nice ride and good luck with it.

Whenever Buschur posts a sheet, you can normally tell if it is a 3rd or 4th pull right off the bat. If it is a 35R build on 2 litre, peak torque is around 6k rpm if 3rd gear, and around 5300 rpm on 4th gear pull. Big difference. Most of the sheets Buschur posts lately are 4th gear pulls.

In post #39 the dark green line is the HP line. It looks like ~300 whp right around 3500-3600rpm.
