Full Race TS 3076 results

I picked up my Evo from Ivey Tuning tonight and thought I would share the results. The build consists of a 4g64 block, HeadGames head, complete Full Race TS3076 kit with 1.06 hotside, AEM standalone and AEM meth kit. I'm using Revolver cams, AEM truboost and all hte other typical bolt ons.

My impressions are that I have a V8. Power comes on fast and builds smoothly. I really have to thank Geoff and the rest of the Full Race staff for a phenomenal kit that met all of my expectations and more. Credit has to go to Sean Ivey also, he really is a master of his craft and can give more input on the how the car feels since he put more miles on it than me so far. Drifto solved a minor glitch and took care of the hotside for me.

Here are charts showing the pump and pump+meth. The AEM nitrous map was used to add meth and revert to pump in case of a fault. Pulls were done in high temps in 3rd gear.

Is this a 2.3L? When do you hit full boost?

It's a 4g64, so I assume it's a 2.4l.

That is a superb combination of parts. I look forward to seeing the graph so that I can see the spoolup. I admit I was expecting higher numbers, though. This is a little higher than a Green and much lower than a Red.

It's a 2.4, the parts were selected to give a broad power band and work well in my RS. Sean could probably squeeze out some more power if I wanted but its already more than the 450 I expected with a reliable tune and hopefully not needing any drivetrain upgrades. I'll run race gas when I get a chance to hit a roadcourse for added safety but I just want a car that I can get in and drive.

Cool finally someone other than a vendor to talk to about my 4g64 plans. Whats are you reving it to? Whats spool like with a 2.4 & tS? Who did the 4g64 build?

The torque is exceptional, congrats on the build.

I recently did some tuning on a TS kit too on a 2.3. The spool up torque on that was also very good but the top end I feel really suffers with the header design on many of the TS kits.

Your car is going to be a blast, enjoy it!!

Geoff at Full Race really helped put all the pieces together based on my goals and existing parts. As far as spool goes I'll let Sean give his impressions but he did say when I left that he never felt an Evo that was so responsive and ha instant power like this car but he could have been blowing smoke up my a$$... It does feel really responsive to me at all throttle positions and any gear. It seems like the weight of my foot on the pedal is all that is needed to be in positive boost.
