What are the important Gauges for the EVO

I just got myself an Evo9 and am in need of advice for a 4WD Turbo machine.

What are the important gauges that are essential to install? I do bring my car down to the circuits and stuff and want to make sure that the car is ok.

I already have Oil/Water temp and Oil press with me which is transferred from my NA car. Will be buying a Boost gauge for sure. But what about stuff like fuel press, intake manifold press and exhaust temp.

Thanks for reading.

The only other really important gauge would be a Wideband Oxygen Sensor.

i agree a wideband will allways be helpful and knowing your car is safe. the best ones to purchase are the AEM or Innovate. both you can get into a pod on the steering wheel or the pillar tri-pod!

There have been about 50,000 threads just like this. SEARCH!!! Manifold pressure and boost pressure are the same thing. Wideband 02 and an EGT gauge if you want. You already have both oil areas covered and a water temp gauge.

1. Wideband (AFR's)
2. EGT (Exhaust Gas Temps)
3. Boost

You can buy them all seperate or buy the Zeitronix Zt-2 with multi function display and call it a day.

^ exactly what he said

you can also have it in a smaller package with this gauge. the only sacrifice is that you can only see one value at a time, but u can cycle through them with a push ofa button:

I'd add EGT to that one.
