Running Meth? Safe or Not

wow, i guess i'm really the epidome of your post then. last time i changed my oil was 10k miles ago. i run 30psi daily driving my evo with meth and a 35r turbo. stock motor, stock head gasket, stock studs. i had to add a half quart of oil 1000 miles ago, and will be doing new oil/filter when i get my car back from paint. oh, and i have 70,000 miles on my car, 10-12k with 500whp, and 60,000 miles with 320+whp.
as for your WW2 reference, thats silly. why would ANYONE run meth injection all the time? when you are just cruising around you don't need meth. thats why the systems triggers at a certain boost level. same thing for the fighter planes, they only triggered their water injection systems when they needed the power boost. otherwise they would have to carry around a giant tank full of water in addition to the gas.

failsafes are great but not even close to protecting your motor. failsafes will protect you if your meth runs out before you hit high boost. But if your already in high boost and your meth runs out. Right AT THAT INSTANT your in high load/high rpm and your a/f ratios will be lean because of no meth. its impossible to instantly drop boost from 30psi to wastegate. Sure it drops fast, say like 0.25 seconds. But that is enough time to blew your motor easily!!!!!!!!!
same thing with map changing ROM mods. It dont magically instantly change maps. it does take tenths of a second for this to happen, more than anough time for engine damage to occure.
another thing as already mentioned. Cylinder wash, i totally agree with this and makes perfect sense to me I dont care how many people have used meth for years. Just because their motor is still working dont mean they are not decreasing the life of it. Kinda same thing for guys who only change their oil every 10,000 miles. Sure your motor is still running, but i bet your decreasing the life of it by not changing it every 3,000.
Meth injection was used way back in World War 2 during emergency take offs and evasive action. ask yourself this question, why didn't the us government use it 100% of the time insteasd of just during emergencies?
ANSWER im sure is because it would decrease the life of the plane and make it not dependable during combate.

the only people knocking meth are probably the ones that have yet to experience it, so they jump on the hater bandwagon and just go off of what they have heard. people that have had bad experiences probably didnt have it set-up properly, had a bad tune, or something else went wrong and they just blame it on the meth
sure it can be bad, but then again so can ANY mod done to your car.

you need to trade in your evo for a honda. an evo is for someone who treats them right. YOur a fool to change your oil every 10k miles. Go use a borescope and take a view pics of the inside of your engine after 10k more miles using meth. Seeing is believing!!!!!!!!!

Second note, the planes orginially used 100% water, methanol was added to decrease the freezing point at high altitude.
Question for the cylinder wash guru's: Please explain the difference with the problem using methanol rather then ethanol?

I ran Alchy in my 03. For power it was just as good as 100 octane. However.... I still think there is tons more risk when using an injection system. The main one being uneven cylinder distribution. Even the best kits will not tell you when cyl 1 gets more alchy/meth than cyl 4. I feel adding a few gallons of 110 is better than running meth but overall its a bit more work.

I want to get it. It seems worth the risk. Cmon noobs... who is seriously going to run a meth map and run out of meth? They come with gauges and who wouldn't check their meth level on a weekly or even daily basis?
Failsafes FTW!

really??????????actually im selling my kit on ebay if you don't believe me item number:280253101401...meth suckssssssss...........cost me lot of$$$$$$$$$to get me another engine...

Dude, YOU failed with meth. Meth can not fail you if you have failsafes and maintain correctly. I guess you didn't do that now did you?
I see you have a thread where you are trying to sell a Snow Performance kit saying its awesome. Some guy asked you if you had any fail safes and to no surprise - no reply from you. If it's so good why were you ranting about it?

^^^ First off, you need homeschooling. Reading that just gave me a headache.
Meth sucks? Bet you didn't use it correctly. You're probably boosting it 100% of the time and wonder why you engine blew. Just mash the pedal all the time right? An engine cannot blow *JUST* because of meth, there are too many factors besides one thing than meth to get an engine to blow. Most of the time the human factor is the biggest case in the engine blowing, either maintenence-wise or just plain abusing the engine...... even worse, abusing the engine with meth. What about a tune? Did you get a correct tune to match your car capabilities? Too many factors to consider.
By judging from the way that you type and respond to posts, I would most likely assume this was a human error.
Don't know what people are whining about. We have people out there buying cheap *** $300.00 meth kits and expect big power gains with reliability.
Ain't gonna happen.
You get what you pay for.
Every single guy that complained about a "problem with the meth kit" or "my engine blown up" has had a meth kit from Snow Performance.

LOLOLOLOL................dame bro i just want to sell my kit....the main reason why i don't want 100%meth in my car is because thats my daily driving car......fill it up every 2 or 3 days........no more meth for my car....hes is clean out of any drug!!.
