That is correct, and if we had been doing those dyno pulls in 4th instead of 3rd gear it would have come up even faster than the 4500 torque plateau that it shows.

20psi is pretty much rippin' by most standards, but it looks like max boost (26 psi) was hit around 4400rpm in 3rd on the dyno graph in post #1.
From my experience, which is possibly more observant, but certainly not as plentiful as many on here, it seems that peak boost is always at the same point where the torque curve transitions from a rapid vertical climb to a more gradual climb, unless there is a boost leak or the turbo is very poorly matched to the application. And on this chart, that would be right around 4400, but that is just speculation based on what I have seen on the cars I have worked on.

Robert, Are you still on the stock evo9 4th gear? What did the car mph in the 1/8
I submitted my time to the DSMTimes page and it is listed here:

but it was 98.26mph I think you can open up a detail on each time listed there and see all the data.

Yes, you may send in stock EVO9 turbos for update and overhaul to EVORed spec. We are doing these in batches of 20-30, so we collect 20-30 used EVO9 turbos and run them all in one big whack. So don't take the turbo off your car and send it in, that will get you all angry and upset that we are taking so long. Doing these will be about a month turnaround possibly and cost $1099. We have already started on the first batch of update/overhaul to Reds, we went ahead and did that batch even though it only had about 12-15 units in it.

Looking at the dyno chart, I'd say the FP Red is going to make going with a 50 trim or 3076 or similar sized turbo pointless. It looks like it spools slightly faster than a 50 trim and flows more air to boot. Nice!

^^he just said there only doin the upgrades in a batch of 30...find 29 of your buddies and then send it in.....Cant wait to get mine hopefully have it on the dyno next tues/wed

Man those are some nice numbers! I will definitely be purchasing this turbo in the near future!
Sort of off topic, but do you have any idea how much more timing you were able to throw at it when you used E-85 (versus the 100 octane you are using now)?

I can wait for 19 or 29 other evo owners to send in their stock 9 turbos for conversion. I'm not in any rush, like i said the turbo is sitting in my garage collecting dust. I purchased my stock 9 turbo for dirt cheap so this conversion makes sense to me instead of buying a brand new EvoRed.
