Are you talking about my old car? When I raced that stock LS1, all I had was intake & exhaust (stock 9.8 turbo) and a base flash, with like 6 boost leaks, 4 fairly major. I ended up racing Jordan right after I got my cams and he beat me by 2 lengths! I tested for leaks, found them all, we re-raced, and bammo, put like 3 or 4 cars on him. It was sweet.

When I went big turbo, I didnt get beat at all. I was 14-0.

Btw, SAFC is total ****. I would have told you sooner how **** they are, but I knew you were going to do it anyway. You are getting fuel cut because of the **** *** SAFC. My tunes were all done by 4 Wheel Slide, same guy that tunes Jordan, and Justin, and even a little of Matt's 35R car. His prices beat 99% of all competitors, and I may be able to get you a nice hookup too. I talk to Tamer (4 Wheel Slide) fairly often and can this setup for you. The combination of tunes I got from him would have cost atleast an additional $500-2000 more from other tuners. Trust me what I say, HE IS THE BEST DEAL! No CEL bull sh it, no fuel cut problems, just safe reliable performance.

I had the same problem in my '05 evo 8. I just took the aftermarket BOV and intake off and like magic it was fine. If I had to guess though, I would say the air intake is the worser of the two evils.
