I'd go with Precision, who use garret center sections. Or Straight Garret. I think they last longer

Garrett's are no joke either..... I like them...they are just a bit pricer units though then some of the other brands.

You can get the S374 (S400-74mm with T4 housing) for 900 bucks guys. Go to the folks that CNC them...look at the bottom..... http://www.forcedinductions.com/productsborgwarner.htm. Give them a call and ask them...they will give you the 411 on all the BW crap.

I just bought 3 of them and re-sold them to a local shop...lol.

You cannot rebuild a ball bearing turbo. If the CHRA is blown it's over. You have to replace the CHRA. For double ball bearing it cost $800-900 to replace.

As for the triple ball bearing, I don't know what it cost to replace those and don't kid yourself into thinking Comp turbos are apart of the Comp performance cams manufacturer. It is a no name brand.

Go with Holset or Borg Warner. They are highly advanced standard bearing turbos that outspool the Garrett dual bb turbos, capable of more power, much more reliable and easy $300 rebuild if needed.
