Anyone have experience with the Airwerks S300SX ?

 

Full-Race has GREAT pricing on their Borg Warner units.

Honestly, Garrett and Borg and good and either one you pick, you wont be disappointed. Garrett has the ball-bearing GTs but Borg has the new Extended Tip Technology which helps spool the turbos so much faster than a regular journal.

whats your budget? whats your HP range? Garrett has oil and water cooled and Borg is just oil, so you would have to cool it down just a tad longer but i really dont think it makes THAT much of a difference for a street car. Like I said, they are both very good turbo companies. Call or E-mail Geoff from Full-Race and ask him. He has both and can give you some good info. good luck!

 

^You right on. After seeing all the information that Geoff from Full-Race has posted about the BW turbos with the ETT i am set on getting a BW turbo. Not only do they spool faster (in a Twin Scroll Setup like Full-Race's kit) than the Garret GT Turbos but also produce more power through the entire power band. Geoff said that they are going to test a Garrett TS GT35R against a BW S300SX 83-75 which is BW equivalent of the 35R this week at Ivey Tuning. Should be an interesting test.

Also someone mentioned it before but BW Turbos sound sweet as hell. Sound pretty similar to the HKS T51R and if anyone has heard that turbo before than you know it sounds like a freaking Harrier Jet taking off.
