Borg or Garett
Ive been choosing between the borg s366 and garett t67 which turbo to purchase for my evo.The two are the only choices since it will be sold to me by a friend.Im running a stage 2 head (valvetrain, cams etc.), power fc, walbro 255 and a stock block.Im not a track person and will only use the car for street or drag.Hoping to get 500 or more once i stroke the motor.Any inputs?

You will have some lag, but I would go with the PT67 turbo. I have it on my stroker and it is an awesome match. Your power band on a stock block will be around 5 - 8k. www.precisionturbo.net

There are good to both turbos.
garretts are super reliable and great for big power.
BW are cheap to rebuild and cheap in price overall and are capable of making great power.
I switched to an s200 instead of a 35r for my car, I will let you know how it goes when all is said and done.

I have run all of the above mentioned. The holset's don't make as much power as either the BW or the Garrett. The tech in the comp wheel is a little old design. The BW's are good and I would say match indentical with the GT's. My buddy owns a shop and has been buying his Borg units from the guys in my sig as I also bought one from them. They have worked great and I can say they do spool a little slower then the GT units I ran, but tend to pull hard up top to the redline. So its a trade off. The guys in my sig can CNC you custom units as well so maybe a hybrid is in order

Hi
This is very interesting if you have the time it will be very good to have a little more info , like , what BW turbo did you run? do you have any dynosheets? etc... it would be very nice to have some more "REAL" data with this another options.
Cheers.
