Car won't start, randomly.

This is so weird. My car won't start at random times. It would be perfectly reliable for 3 weeks, then one day, it won't start. It's only happens after i've driven the car and stopped for a short while (restroom or to get some food). It never happens in the morning when i first start the car. Battery was checked as fine, and there isn't any water damage from the common leaking area. It acts exactly like my clutch pedal isn't pressed and i try to start the car. everything electrical works, but the car just won't turn over. It won't even try to crank.

Btw, It will EVENTUALLY start after i try to start it several times. But it takes several tries.

I have two gauges (boost, a/f). The a/f doesn't work, but lights up. I also have a turbo timer (apexi). What's weird about this TT is that it goes into a small black box, which connects it to the ignition wires, and several other wires that im not sure of. Anyways, i don't think it has anything to do with it because the problem happens even if i turn it off.

any help guys would be appreciated. thanks.

Check your tt wires inside your steering column.

+1 It's gotta be a loose wire somewhere in the steering column. Did you use a turbo timer harness that is made for the Evo?

i'd put my money on that...my buddy's srt-4 had identical symptoms as the op described and it turned out to be a clutch pedal switch or something along those lines. i will have him give me more detail and post it up asap

im not sure if it's my clutch pedal switch because i've disconnected it before, and it won't start.

THis means, that i can start the car without pressing the clutch. But with this issue, i still can't start it no matter if the clutch switch is connected or not.

The TT seems to be connected using a harness.
