You dont need vsprings on kelfords, however over 7900rpms it would be a good idea.

It's not as easy as it sounds.

This would be correct. The head needs to come off the car without expensive specialty tools and a high capacity air compressor.

I dont believe you need valve springs if you run tomei poncam 260 10.7 in and 10.2 ex lift. once you go up to 11 plus you will need to pick up some valve springs. tomei poncam was made for simple drop in cams. no other modification needed.

If you're not changing out the springs and retainers, have your tuner (or yourself) set the rev limiter to 7700-7800 just in case.

Not a bad idea, could I run the GSC S2s on stock springs/retainers? I dont really rev past 7k and rarely even get that high, I don't plan on tracking anytime in the near future and I don't need to shift at 7800 on the street

We have the country's Kelford stock in house...

Let us know if you are interested in picking up a set.

We do have one rare set of a special model available we were saving for testing on a stock turbo, that we might even let go.

I would tell you not to change the cams until you upgrade the turbo.

Most gurus will tell you that the stock EVO9 cams are comparable to the HKS 272 EVO8 cams. They should be plenty good for maxing out the stock turbo.

I would focus on more boost, airflow, or octane prior more cam.
