BF 272 Cam Specs

I have been searching around and I was looking for the cam specs with no luck. I'm trying to do a comparison with GSC S2's. Does anyone know the specs?

No use asking, they'll never be revealed. They're supposedly more along the lines of JUN 272 or Tomei 280's......serious cams

it's a bit silly not to at least have a cam card in the box when purchased. if you are degreeing with a dial guage etc, how are you supposed to know whether or not where peak lift occurs is correct. believe it or not off spec cams do happen.

these are nothing like the jun's or tomei 280s... I have had jun's and tomeis and know the specs of them .. I had these cams put on a cam doctor and got the specs.. They are much smaller than jun's or tomei's.. but visibly, they have the same lobe shape as the jun's..

I am still going to run these cams, since they are proven to make good power in all of the buschur built cars... but then again, I'm weary that I could make more power with tomei's or jun's.. but David has said that they make similar power to jun's and tomei's in the past.. so who knows....

Also, I will not give out the cam specs since Buschur doesn't want them out.. I just wanted to know for me.

that may be true, but the customer should still have the option to verify it. however, i'm sure if you asked david in a nice way he'd let you know.

did you upgrade from your revolvers to these (what's the difference if you did). i currently run revolvers and have a set of BF's sitting here. i wanted to go with the juns but no one had them in stock at the time.

yes i have the bf's in now. they seemed to do very well over the revolvers... i gained around 200 to 250 rpm more lag but topend seems to be around 30hp gain... i miss the low end the revolvers gave me and the killer top end the had. dont forget my gains are on stock ecu and stock motor.. im sire 20 more hp would be seen with a ported head built motor and aem...

if it was me i would say for the basest street cam with a stock to 30r turbo revolvers all the way.

for drag and just stupid fast up top bigger then 35r turbos bf's do the job good...

i have some tomei's im going to try out as well. then see how they compare.

I still have my HKS 280s in my car but im looking for more power but I don't want any more lag as well. Maybe BF 272 is my next cams as well.

If your going big might as well go really big, go with the Tomei's or something from GSC or kelford.

We ran the BF 272 cams in our stock turbo evo and went 127mph.. They lose a little down low but the top end is well worth the trade IMO.. It stretched out the powerband quite a bit..
