I'm optimistic the tune is going to change but I am unsure. I'm hoping that the leaks were present when the original tune took place. I don't know if maybe the coupler slipped off on one of the 6 WOT runs since I picked the car up. I don't know if the FP Red is capable of hitting 29 psi with that big of a boost leak, but who knows. What are the chances the coupler would have slipped off in the 7 mile drive to the shop to get a boost leak? lol Also with that big of a boost leak the AFR's would be rich not lean like they were... I guess another tuning session will tell if this boost leak was present during the original tune, we shall see. I don't care if I gain anymore power just as long as my AFR's are richened up to 11.5 - 12.2(max) range. I really just want to enjoy my new found power before winter hits.

Lucas will take care of it as he stated... He made a mistake by not checking for boost leaks but, he has openly said it was a mistake.. He has stepped up and paid for it to get tested and is going retune the car on his dyno.. Mistakes happen, even though they shouldn't it is possible for it to happen, but when they do happen you want to make sure the company stands behind you.. Like Lucas is doing..
I look forward to seeing the results after the problem is fixed, very nice build again, and congrats on the progress so far!!!

i didnt mean to offend you with the tobz comment and have removed it from my post, just said that as i have seen results from other cars he has tuned and wanted to see how a red turns out, im sure i will be able to do this in the future. i apologize if it seemed offensive.
as for this comment you made, well guess im just going to keep my mouth shut as i dont want to start a post war in your thread, although it is hard for me to hold back!

hence the j/k...
I don't side with one camp or the other... I'm an Evo owner excited about my new goodies, I could care less about what goes on between tuners in this state, it's none of my business. The way I see it, is if the state of Colorado had only one good tuner, our tunes wouldn't reach full potential. Competition is good!
Please just keep me out of any Tobz vs. whoever tune, it's not my cup of tea. Yes, I did take your comment as a blow against who I chose to tune my vehicle. My comment you mention was meant to serve two purposes. One - lighten up your comment with a joke, Two - make a point that people make mistakes i.e.- melt a motor, miss a boost leak.
It's all good and appreciate your apology.
