mpfcc: You'll be turning the boost up shortly, won't you? 26-27 PSI would be OK on mere 93 octane gasoline, but on E85 you should be closer to 28-30#, shouldn't you?

I'll have to discuss more details with my tuner. Because of work I was not around when tuning was going on. Like the original post states this is where he felt comfy with my setup. I would like to go higher but since I can't tune it's not really up to me lol

I'm not quite sure how altitude plays a role in dyno tuning but Im assuming these numbers could improve at sea level?

Dunno, depends if it's corrected or uncorrected I'm assuming.

I guess it all depends on his timing. he is making tremendous power if these numbers are uncorrected, congrats. That should be good for 126+traps

Thanks... doubt they are uncorrected, but I can't confirm until I pick the car up and get the dynosheet Sunday. As for 126+, dunno at this altitude.

The numbers on this dyno are always fully corrected, which is around 25-26%. If you take my numbers and add that much, it puts me around 410whp. So, these aren't big numbers, but they are still pretty decent. Take my times and add 45-50whp...pretty fast but not much faster than I expect to be with a Green. The Red has a lot more in it, but you can see that by the boost he's supposedly running.

Not to detract from the achievement. I agree that he is making good power. But, I have run 26.5# on my Green with 93 octane with zero knock at 3300 ft. It's been a while and I'd have to check the timing table.

But, this kinda begs the question...Why run a high timing/low boost tune on E85 if you want to take advantage of the Red's relatively high flowing compressor? Wouldn't you want to run a bit less timing and higher boost, especially at altitude? I am probably way off base with this line of reasoning, so correct me if I am wrong.
