Same thing happened to me just now. Doesn't sound like fuel pump getting power and did rewire it do thinking it did die. But anything else to check before I pull it?

I would check the voltage at the fuel pump to make sure you have power to the pump. If not, check the fuse to the pump. If blown, replace. If it keeps blowing, it's possible that circuit is grounding out somewhere. To be sure you can ohm out the circuit to see if it is indeed shorted. Hope this helps.

Turned out for me it was the fuel pump and replaced it and started up runs ok but now have an inconsistent putt like sound. Was thinking maybe fuel filter or jumped timing somehow?

Help pls

I think I have the same issue now, I dont hear my pump turn on once I turn the key. What sucks is that I have a full tank of gas but luckily I have 400lhp e85 pump waiting for me at home. I really hope this is the problem I will also make sure to check all the fuses

Fuel Pump died? Check the fuse!

OK just to remind everyone. The fuse is #8 in the engine compartment fuse box. NOT in the fuse box under the dash. OK? To all you EVO people, carry a couple of spare 20 amp fuses, because if you are stuck in Tucumcari, NM without a spare, you are not gonna be a happy camper. OK?
