Is this part really neccessary for the 8/9. I am not knocking the part at all. I love what Indy and BR are doing, and I live to read and learn from their posts. I am just wondering if this piece if asthetic or necccessary.

I had one similar to this design on my 03 Cobras from Steeda.

They stated not so much to reduce under-hood air intake temps but mainly was to prevent air turbulence from fan wash.

Piece looks nice Def. not California friendly

Let me know when I can order one!!!! I really want one... Quick question though, I have the old Buschur filter, will it work with the oldie or do I have to buy a new one?

For me, in Florida, and having a open slits over the air filter, I'm actually going to use it to shield of water from when it rains. This would be perfect for that!

LilRico this one is yours. You said you wanted one at the Shootout, here it is. I'll make sure you get it after the boys are done with the install photos.
