Also found out their is a Billet GT4202, but 71mm inducer , but still has the 102 backing?? Apparently its built for one of the NHRA classes.....suppose to flow 91lbs/min versus the GT4294 which is 70mm, which is used now that flows 84lbs/min. They come up with new crap every week.... . Now I know why they supply so many aftermarket companies with turbos...lol
Probably the SFWD equivalent class.

I know Garrett was working on a turbo that sat within a few thousandths of the maximum size allowed by the rule book for that class. Sounds like this is it.

This turbo is waaayy oversized for any sfwd class not to mention there is no class as of right now.. especially k series was limited to 67mm so they arent going to allow an 80mm for sure..

Sorry if it came across wrong there. I was talking about the GT4202 part of the post that I quoted and not the GT4208R turbo mentioned initially.

I thought import racing on the national level was all but over??? I guess you can run with Pro-comps in an electronics bracket class... Honestly, I haven't paid any attention to the national racing stuff this year. I normally make 3-4 events every year, but haven't even tried to make one this year.

Something like this? Garrett did make a few, we have 2, i know Courtney has one and a few others do also. Precision also has their version which i beleive uses the billet BW wheel.

Appears to be the 4202 wheel just shaved to a 72mm inducer.....nice.
