AWD Motorsports 700hp RS Build... 7-14 Days Total!!
Well my RS has been sitting in my garage for several months and we finally decided to take some time to put it together with all the parts we have sitting on our shelves.. We are very busy here with customer cars so this is going to have to be done after hours and on the weekend to be completed in this time frame.. I am estimating a maximum 7-10 days til the car is built and running and 3-4 days in tweaks and tuning.. The build will consist of 90% off the shelf parts.. Right now the car has no motor in it at all.. We are building the car with 0 mods currently on it so this is a complete build.. One of the main reason for this build is to allow us to test parts more easily.. We will be testing turbos, intake manifolds, driveshafts, etc. in the up and coming months.. I will take pictures along the way as best I can.. Below are the mods..
Day 7 Complete and this is the 1st video..

The Dip you see after 7k is where it starts to walk on the dyno a little.. If we didnt break the strap it might have carried more power up to 9k..
**UPDATE** 9/24
After further evaluation of the Logs and Dyno graph the car is going back on the dyno tomorrow to see if we can touch 750whp on a baby 62mm turbo.. There is more left on the table in boost and tuning.. It was only last year when we maxed the 67mm turbo at 735whp.. We couldnt get anything more out of it but these new PTE Billet units are making some power.. This is all on a Standard Buschur Ported Intake Manifold also.. We are going to try the v2 soon as well.. If this baby can make 775WHP i would be amazed!!!
Some things to take note of that i find particularly amazing compared to when my black car had a 67mm turbo..
WHITE RS 712whp / Black GSR 735whp
1. Buschur Ported Stocker / AMS VSR
2. Buschur 65mm TB / BBK 75mm
3. Buschur 2.5" UICP / 3" UICP
4. Precision 6262 / Precision 67p Trim
5. Buschur Bf 272 / JUN 272 ( I will overlay the Graph which shows power made all the way to redline vs. Juns Dropping off
6. E85 / C16
I realize they are 2 different cars but in comparison it can show though bigger is not always better.. Also there was a difference in fuels which did make a difference but i am just in awe over a 62mm turbo that out powers the 67mm even at peak power and at redline..

Looking good Mike. We turned our car from a stock 03 Red Evo VIII to the Orange beast in 3 weeks, that included the paint and bodywork, but not the cage. It also included a lot of late nights. You guys are going to be real tired when its done. Good luck with the build.
