so close to 400, is it enough?
so im finishing up my engine and not sure if i should run meth to get over the 400 hump or not, list of powermods are.. (feel like a noob with one of these posts )
green turbo
o2 dump pipe
gsc s1 cams
arp headstuds
fidenza cam gears
turbo xs intercooler
injen intake
3" cutout
ported/polished/coated manifold
injen uicp
niesi licp
walbro fuel pump
hallman boost controller
forge bov
what i dont know is if i should go port the throttle body or port the turbo (not sure if porting the turbo will create power or just help spool) to make sure i hit the 400 goal..
also i have a megan manifold, but heard good/bad stories bout it so unsure if i should put it on or not, not sure if people had direct information that it sucks because if its not gunna make much more power then my ported then imma scrap that idea..

You need to add a great tune. With those mods, you should be able to hit your goal. Needs a tune.
I have no personal experience with that manifold, but have seen that they are notorious for cracking and hairline fractures. Stock manifold should be good - if you take it off just have it coated.

Im doing the same build and had the same question. Depending whos dyno your on you might need meth to hit the 400 mark. I want to hit the 400 mark on buschur's dyno and i know im going to need meth and aem ems. You also might need injectors. Good luck

I've got basically the same mods as you only I have HKS 272's and no cam gears. Not sure of the power level since I'm road tuned, but it's enough to keep up with Porsche turbos and walk Vipers
Also I do have a Megan manifold, but its been heat coated, so it shouldn't crack. I believe most of the people that have problems with them have problems because they get wet (from rain or washing the car) when hot and it causes them to crack. My friend has been running one for over 40k miles with no problems and his isn't coated.

trying to not do meth till down the road probably when spring hits when i get tired of the power again lol.. but yeah i was planning on dynojet numbers (higher) since its what most people refer to when having number battles, and yeah i forgot the injectors, was planning on going 750s but wasnt sure if i should go bigger/smaller with the green

Depends on your tuner and which dyno you will be tuning on. But you are more than likely to reach your goal of 400whp. Most people would suggest Sean@iveytuning since you are in NJ. Also why do you have an injen intake and uicp but a nisei licp?

I'm in the same boat as you. I didn't want to do meth yet and to be honest I'm just going to run race gas with a retune eventually that way I can take advantage of the FP Green. It really doesn't get working until past 25psi.

in my case, Injen used to only offer the upper ic pipe and intake without a lower ic pipe.
