FP Red and BR lower IC pipe fitment

Anyone have an issue with the red turbo and the BR lower IC pipe (the one meant for the race core) in that it is dangerously close to the starter wire power lug? I tried bending the little tab that surrounds the lug and got about 1/8 inch clearance but on hard pulls the motor rocks and it shorts against the pipe. Rotating the compressor didn't seem like an option either with the solid feed line. Robert, is there a pin that mates the 2 turbo halves together?

I could probably shave a little more off the tab but wanted to see if this was common before doing so. Dave, what do you guys do about this?

Thanks

You need a EVO9 compressor outlet pipe. Do not use the EVO8 pipe on the EVO9 turbo, you will start a fire.

Do not attempt to change the rotation or orientation of the housings on a EVO8 or EVO9 turbo.
